Screen printing and book making workshop in Gouarec, central Brittany
Otto opened Salamandre in 2021 after moving from Bath, UK, where he had previously set up MSP
Atelier Salamandre is equipped with a large format hand bench, Large drying rack, exposure unit, washout unit, lightbox, A0 inkjet printer for positives, Photoshop.
There is a large selection of paper, all chemicals, film for positives. Inks are System3, TW and Sebek.
If you come by plane or train I'm happy to pick you up from the train station in Saint Brieuc or Lorient.
Salamandre is situated on the edge of the village Gouarec, in the centre of Britanny. The attractive village has a few bars and restaurants, two banks, a shop, bakery and post office/mairie. It is crossed by the canal Nantes à Brest, which offers excellent cycling and walking possibilities. Next to the canal is a campsite. Beaches are an hour or two away by car to the north, west and south.

Otto a ouvert Salamandre en 2021 après avoir quitté Bath, au Royaume-Uni, où il avait précédemment créé MSP.
L'Atelier Salamandre est équipé d'un banc à main grand format, d'un grand séchoir, d'une insoleuse, un bac de lavage, une boîte à lumière, une imprimante à jet d'encre A0 pour les positifs, de Photoshop.
Il existe un grand choix de papier, de tous les produits chimiques, de films pour les positifs. Les encres sont System3, TW et Sebek.
Si vous venez en avion ou en train, je serai ravie de venir vous chercher à la gare de Saint Brieuc ou de Lorient.
La Salamandre est située à la limite du village de Gouarec, au centre de la Bretagne. Le joli village compte quelques bars et restaurants, deux banques, un magasin, une boulangerie et un bureau de poste/mairie. Il est traversé par le canal de Nantes à Brest, qui offre d'excellentes possibilités de vélo et de marche. À côté du canal se trouve un camping. Les plages sont à une heure ou deux en voiture au nord, à l'ouest et au sud.
