Screen printing and book making workshop in Gouarec, central Brittany
Otto opened the workshop in 2021 after moving from Bath, UK, where he had set up his first workshop, Marshfield Screen Print.
Screen printing Residency/Holiday
Full printmaking holiday including use of workshop and accommodation
Supervised workshop use / self-contained accommodation / 1 day of teaching: 700€ subject to the artist being sufficiently experienced
Basic materials supplied, if you need any more, please bring it with you or pay separately.
If workshop use is light, please contact me and I make you a price.
Extra days of teaching: 180€/day
deposit of 30% payable in advance
Atelier Salamandre is equipped with a large format hand bench, Large drying rack, exposure unit, washout unit, lightbox, A0 inkjet printer for positives, Photoshop.
There are also inks, large selection of paper, all chemicals.
The gite without workshop use is also available on AirBnB.
Belonging to the buildings is a garden and a large terrain to explore.
Salamandre is situated on the edge of the village Gouarec, in the centre of Britanny. The attractive village has a few bars and restaurants, two banks, a shop, bakery and post office/mairie. It is crossed by the canal Nantes à Brest, which offers excellent cycling and walking possibilities. Next to the canal is a campsite. Beaches are an hour or two away by car to the north, west and south.
If you search for instant inspiration, we have a large natural terrain, suitable for sketching, outdoors art activities, or just relaxing.

L'Atelier Salamandre est équipé d'une table manuel grand format, d'un grand claie de séchage, d'une lampe d'insulation, d'une bac à lavage, d'une lightbox, d'un traceur A0 pour les typons, de Photoshop.
Il existe également des encres, un grand choix de papier, tous produits chimiques.
Le gîte sans utilisationd'atelier est également disponible sur AirBnB.
Appartenant aux bâtiments se trouvent un jardin et un grand terrain à explorer.
