Jane and Peter's adventure in a bike, one of a series of four concertina vehicles.
The characters are borrowed from the popular 50s children's books. The narrative moves from panel to panel through the interiour of the bike. Jane provides a deeper insight at the end.
This concertina book resembles a Chinese screen. The outside features a uniform pattern, while the story takes place on the inside panels. Like the other books in the series, the design creates an optical illusion when viewed standing semi-unfolded on a table in front of a viewer.
