Sand is a book in the format of a record sleeve in English and French. Instead of vinyl, the sleeve contains an inside sleeve in turn enveloping a concertina book which explores bitmap fills from a vintage vector drawing program. In Sand, the patterns appear at rhythmical scales and combinations and form the dunes of a desert which could be described as melodical.
